Optimal control allocation for the parallel interconnection of buck converters

This paper presents a control algorithm for the parallel interconnection of heterogeneous power converters. A single resistive load is assumed to be fed by an arbitrary number buck converters via common DC bus. The approach based on allocation theory and constrained quadratic optimization algorithm. strategy achieves fast voltage response with optimal current distribution among converters, while taking into account limits, dynamic response, efficiency individual An interesting by-product ability put in out service through trivial adjustments code. benefits are assessed simulations experimental evaluation.
